Summary
Two years after the death of her father (and uncle), Hope Mikaelson continues to search for closure under the alias Hope Marshall. After traveling around the globe to places her father may have left an imprint, she finds herself back in Mystic Falls, seeking out Alaric Saltzman and his Gemini twin daughters, as the twins are the ones who unknowingly saved her life on the night that her father took in the darkness from her own body. Hope struggles to balance her hidden identity and her desire to open up to students at the school.

Sure, she would often watch those cute cheesy romance movies, so you would think that maybe she had an idea, but the scenarios that play out on those don’t really happen in real life. Honestly, you could say she kind of had an unrealistic view on relationships. Josie really wanted to find someone, so she decided that one day she’d register on Tinder. Just to check it out. Apparently everyone was doing it. Unfortunately, she was too self-conscious. She wasn’t like her sister Lizzie – gorgeous blonde who could get anyone she wanted. What if Josie used her sister’s pictures on Tinder and pretended to be her? What’s the worst that could happen?

Summary
The title is based off an Edgar Allen Poe poem, Alone, as for the story itself I actually got inspired by a Webtoon comic I was reading, Demons High School. If you have the Webtoon app I recommend it, anyway, as I was reading it I thought to myself, this would make a good Hosie story, so here we are.
This is an alternate universe, one of the main changes made, instead of vampires there are demons. The Salvatore school still exists. The characters are bit different, but also kinda the same.
Hope is the daughter of the Demon King Klaus Mikaelson, after years of not attending school, on her first day she meets her mate, Josie Saltzman, only Josie despises demons. How will Hope manage?

What she did not expect was to find a protector in Josie Saltzman. The shy kid who went to the same school as her for a decade and had a little crush on her, except she wasn't that shy anymore. When Josie experienced a life-changing moment, the tables are turned.
