Scar vs Scara is also a low-hanging fruit on name similarity. Wanderer wouldn't introduce himself by that name anyway. -

Meanwhile, Jack doesn't know how long he'll have to wait for the other Guardians to find him.
Probably a while since Pitch not only turned Jack mortal and messed up his magic, but sent him BACK IN TIME. It's been a disaster thus far, but perhaps this new 'owner' will be the turning point.
And if Hiccup and the other Vikings are unaware that Jack can understand and speak their language?
