Summary
Reach, a fortress world of the UNSC, a planet where they produced all kinds of equipment, from civilian to military, the planet where the famous SPARTANS did their best to halt the Covenant advance.
Yet, after everything that humanity did to ensure the planet's location from leaking, the Covenant manage to found the planet and lay siege as the UNSC activated WINTER Contingency, fighting the covenant on every front until the appearance of the Covenant super carrier, The Long Night of Solace, thwarted their efforts by destroying the UNSC Grafton using their glassing beam before assisting on the Covenant counter attack.
On the back foot, UNSC HIGHCOM needed a solution, a plan, anything to divert the carrier's attention, and with a plan devised by Kat of Noble Team, they acquired a slip-space drive, donated by the UNSC Savannah, to be used as a bomb that was to be planted on a Covenant corvette on a refueling track to the carrier.
Though NOBLE Team was successful of placing the bomb, the UNSC Savannah couldn't fall back in time and was destroyed as a lucky plasma round tore through the ship and caused its reactor to overload, breaking the ship in half and killing all the crew.
A new life awaits her.

Being wrongly accused and shipped off to a distant world, one filled of resources to fuel the ongoing war against Insurrectionist, and after making land fall he is tasked as the commanding officer and sole crew of Epsilon Carrier, a mostly autonomous ship filled with aircraft and vehicles, with ammo and fuel for said vehicles and the carrier.
After receiving his mission orders, to intercept and destroy a rogue carrier, Omega Carrier, which was hacked by the terrorist organization and was tasked to automatically capture hostile islands and place seismic devices capable of destroying the planet's crust, ensuring the war effort of their enemy fades and lose.
With nothing to lose and a mission given, the Captain of Epsilon carrier sets course to a grueling campaign against the hostile carrier. Scouting, destroying, deploying, capturing, supplying, evading, retreating, attacking, and defending, he did all of this by himself as he gave tasks to his AI driven vehicles.
And after months of continuous operation, set back after set back, capture after capture, and many sleepless nights, he had done it, the fiery hulk of Omega carrier along with its small fleet burning near the horizon.

“Grace, you might want to check that out. Could be another ship,” Rocky said while aiming his texture monitor at the Petrovascope, trying to make sense of the shape the sensors were painting for him.
“A little busy here, Buddy.” Grace sighed, focused on not tripping over the xenonite chain Rocky had started working on for the collection unit. The outline was wrong for debris. Wrong for a ship. Too small. Too… Rocky worked through the shape again, methodically, and then stopped. “No, not a ship. I do not have word. Grace, what is your word for thing that is not where it should be?” Grace opened his mouth to answer, then closed it. Something in the way Rocky mentioned it made him move without thinking. He pulled himself to the Petrovascope and looked.
What he saw made every coherent thought leave his head all at once. Floating in the middle of the Petrova line, like a piece of lost cargo, was a person. An actual person in what looked like some kind of spacesuit he didn’t recognize, alive, barely, from what he could tell by the way they were moving, slow and disoriented but moving, and absolutely nowhere near where any person should be.
“Holy hel—moly.” Grace breathed.
