Even if they both wanted it, it wasn’t happening. It wasn’t legal. Usually, Benson didn’t give a shit if something was legal before doing it, but in this case, what would be the point even if it was? It was just a piece of fuckin’ paper, something the government probably used to fuckin’ track people too. Oh, sure, Benson was going make the government aware of who he loved enough to legally bind himself to them. Just straight up reveal his weaknesses to the vampires in the White House so they could be used against him later. Fucking stupid. Anyone who got married was stupid.
...And Benson’s stupid ass could not stop thinking about marrying Randy right now.

The mop slapped wetly on the floor and slid across the grimy surface. Benson dug the head into the ground as hard as he could, and a sound like nails on a chalkboard ricocheted off the walls. It was agonizing to listen to. Benson didn’t care. It was the only thing louder than his thoughts.
She’s not sleeping. She’s not sleeping.
The sound of a door being pushed open. Two chimes. Footsteps. Benson looked up.
“Hey, Benson.”
Benson grunted and gave Bradley a nod as he entered. Well, at least he was working with Bradley today.
