Luo Binghe would do nearly anything to make his husband happy. Heavenly Demon bodies have the capacity to do nearly anything. Shen Qingqiu lacks the imagination to understand how comprehensive "anything" is, but he enjoys the results, assuming he can survive the mortification. Post-canon pure happy married fluff.

Summary
“Need word,” Rocky says in baby-talk Eridian for me. The translator dutifully repeats “need word” in English a second later.
After fifteen minutes of bewildering back and forth between the three of us, we determine the word he needs is “declension.”
A year into the journey to Erid, Grace faces down his most formidable academic gauntlet since astrophage: the five-part polyphonic Eridian language. It’s only fair after Rocky mastered English, human mannerisms, Grace mannerisms- without so much as one complaint. And if learning Eridian might temper some of Grace’s desperate, near-complete dependence on Rocky in the future… well. That’s his own business.
Eridian breaks Grace’s brain, heart, and soul- and puts it back together.

After the Taumoeba leak, after I decided to die after all and turned my ship around to save Rocky, after Rocky's frantic calculations about food supplies, Taumoeba multiplication rates, and human caloric intake needs, after we realized that with some rationing and luck I would make it, but that we were headed toward the unknown territory of trying to rapid-prototype me a life support system and synthetic food supply on an inhospitable planet: after all of that, after everything, I shouldn't have been surprised that it only took a few months on board the Hail Mary for things to get weird.

He has certain familial obligations that have gone unaddressed for too long. Specifically, an orphaned nephew who needs him. Summary
“I suspect,” snapped Gandalf, “that your ‘lucky ring’ was in fact a dwarven ring of power, one of seven which have been lost, and which you somehow stumbled upon in Moria. Now you have destroyed both it and the dragon in one fell swoop! And that’s all well and good for Thorin Oakenshield and his Company. But an act of destruction like that means the Lord of Darkness who willed that ring into being will have noticed, and like as not, he’s amassing his army as we speak. All of Gondor may have fallen before I’ve so much as caught sight of Osgiliath!”
“…I didn’t mean any harm,” said Bilbo. He managed to sound both mulish and heartbroken in the same breath.

Or: Bilbo destroys the One Ring. It solves fewer problems than you’d think.
