And sure, there’s this constant feeling that he’s forgetting something extremely important.
But he’s happy! He has friends! And he’s lucky to get a job and a roof over his head, confused and broken as he is! Ignore his heart and soul reaching out to someone or something just out of reach. That’s just his messed up mind talking.
Until one of their regulars leaves behind a random folder.

The whole affair is annoying, and he, alongside Matthew Williams, is simply waiting the era out, but the arrival of yet another territory child cements his distaste for the way that Arthur perceives the world around him—the world beneath him—poking at questions of what these children of tomorrow are destined to be, and what will make them turn out that way.

In 1990 the Baltic States hit their breaking point with Russia and the ever-living nightmare that was the Soviet Union. After raising hell, they managed to free themselves within the following years, and have since been rebuilding their nations and identities.
Additionally, every year since then, they, and a small handful of other ex-Soviet states, gather to remember their fights, their losses, and all the wonderful things they achieved in between. At least, this is what Toris regularly anticipates until 2024 when he believes only two people have shown up for him, causing him to spiral.
