In turns out the singularity basically functioned like the omegaverse and his only servant was the one he summoned from the leylines, Richard the Lionheart.

You lived an (expectedly) difficult life in Leyndell, and found yourself becoming a bit obsessed with the capital's Tarnished-hunting defender, Margit the Fell, after witnessing the glorious way he used holy spells in combat. You were determined to learn under him, to become his student, completely oblivious to the complexities this would entail.
