    At the end of the universe, bleeding and broken and quite certain neither of them are going to make it back alive, Meteor decides that it just doesn't seem fair that Zenos should die alone. So he drags himself to Zenos' side and collapses on top of his chest. One small comfort in what Meteor assumes to be their final moments. At least, until he wakes up in Old Sharlayan some time later to find that he was not the only one who made it home.
