And an interest in the dancer who, even days after, Freminet can’t seem to get his mind off of. A boy who burns across the water as he dances on, tendrils of steam snaking up his legs, as if attempting to drag him back down into the ocean for his actions against it. Miraculously, he stays on top, never once sinking like Freminet is fond of doing. And for once, Freminet doesn’t want to sink either.
