Today is a Luke day.
Rey loves having Luke around. Typically, at least. After five fast years of working under his tutelage, Rey has grown to be quite comfortable in Luke’s presence. He can be steady, sure, and at times straight up silly.
But days like today? After Luke has slid himself into retirement six months ago? These days feel contentious, through no fault of her own.
When Rey has reached her limit hearing Luke yell at Ben for everything and nothing at all, she takes the opportunity to call Ben for a quick check in.
