“Sakura, you first.” Umemiya opened the box and gestured for him to climb in.
Sakura shrugged and climbed into the crate, tucking his knees to his chest. “Nirei, your turn!” Sakura heard Umemiya say cheerfully, then Nirei was climbing into the crate in front of him. Nirei offered a small smile and Sakura nodded.
“Alright! See you two on the other side!” Umemiya’s smile was the last thing Sakura saw before the lid of the crate slipped on and they were plunged into pitch darkness.
