Summary
It’s hard to believe in love when you grow up in the pleasure district. Maomao grew up knowing love as something transactional, and when someone forgot that all they got was ruin. The dead woman living in the Verdigris annex was proof of that, so forgive her if she didn’t want to be part of the life of the man who carelessly ruined her.
Unfortunately, she hadn’t even gotten back from her first party as a courtesan when her birth father had already bought out her contract. “I’m taking you home”, like she was supposed to be happy about that. Worse than having to protect her body, she has to protect her heart. Maomao refused to end up like her foolish mother.

Summary
Sick of the slow burn with Spy x Family? What about a slow burn with charges set along the way?
Twilight has made steady progress with Operation STRIX, but it's not without its complications. The biggest complications are the two civilians (or so he thinks) that he's had to utilize to achieve the mission's goals.
Anya and Yor are just so lovely. Even Bond is lovely.
But they're not without their own secrets.
As Twilight realizes mistakes may have been made, secrets begin to be uncovered--and the mistakes don't seem to matter as much as their result:
Twilight wants something real and he wants it with his fake family.They seem to want something real too. And, worst (best?) of all, Anya and Yor seem to think he's capable of it. They make him feel like he might be.
But, can he protect them from his work? Is he actually capable?
Most importantly, can he protect them all from their own pasts and secrets?

Summary
JinMao. As Fengxian's life comes to an end, Maomao makes a discovery about her birth parents that causes her to ask questions and ponder why her life is the way it is and why she is who she is. When Ah-Duo is diagnosed with a terminal illness soon after Fengxian passes, Maomao is entrusted with much of her care and witnesses the usually guarded members of the imperial family facing their regrets, fears, and humanity.
Canon divergent but not a lot of spoilers beyond the second season of the anime.
References to some of the darker subjects in the overall story.
