Summary
It's June, and the Jackson family wants to kick things off by visiting their relatives in Australia, the Gilberts. It should be fun, and Sally's excitement at getting to see her sister Lisa is contagious, so why do things keep going to shit?
This work is heavily based on and inspired by mooncrises' fanfic Float (https://archiveofourown.org/works/16089569/chapters/37576427) so definitely go check that out and give it some kudos!
That being said my version of this idea gets more and more different over time. Be ready for a wild ride!

Summary

Follow 19-year-old Stina Heks as she becomes a soldier in this war, more than a soldier, even, as she is given a top-secret mission that could change the course of the war. But there’s a catch: she has to work with the most annoying elf on planet Earth: An always serious guy named Sunder Tradove.
At least, Marella, Lihn, Tam, and Jensi have also been placed on the mission with her. But as the war storms on, Stina can’t help but wonder if they are bound to lose no matter what they do.
