Summary
Lately, Alyosha has been working harder than usual in order to fix his gun after it tragically broke down. He’d rather die than replace it, and on top of taking Tugarin, sometimes it feels like that might happen sooner than he thinks.
Alyosha throws himself into his work, trying to make sure he fixes his gun. He resorts to picking up extra shifts at the theater and even hunting using alternative methods.
As he’s doing so, he can’t help but notice that he’s been ‘accidentally’ running into Mitya more than usual.
(Or, Odette and Vodyanitsa help Mitya get closer to his crush he’s been yearning for since they met.)

Summary

Summary
After what happened at Korolevskiy Theater, things went back to normal, as normal as they could make it to be. They don’t have a choice. The world does not stop moving on its axis simply because they experienced the Curse of Death momentarily.
Alyosha goes back to his usual routine of hunting and working part-time at the theater. And as normal as any day in Snezhnaya, week-long blizzards storm by to set him back a few paces, leaving him short of budget. While trying to scrounge enough money, he meets Mitya a couple of times. To be fair, they haven’t talked much before, if they had at all.
