“Okay no-” I turned on him, making him stop in his tracks. “I don't believe you, I've never once seen you with food and you're always so pale! What aren't you telling me!? I want to help but I can't if you hide everyth-” I was cut off as Damien suddenly pinned me against the back of the toaster, a hand over my mouth. I glared up at him and almost started trying to shout against his hand.
But then I noticed his eyes, they were wide and scared and looking away from me- looking up. I quickly shut up and listened, hearing footsteps that softly boomed, vibrating us a bit as they got closer, and a familiar voice humming.
My heart was beating loud and fast, if I didn't know any better I would've thought the human could hear it.

It was now or never. Wilbur had told Tommy that this could be the end of the war, this could save everyone. He stood there, sweating as he stared into the helmet of his opponent, the smile painted onto the general's face guard practically teasing him. The man was taller, stronger, smarter; Tommy knew, not just from how they towered over him, but also from the times he'd seen the general fighting from afar- he may not have ever gotten a close look at them until now (he was only a low level soldier after all, his job was to just hang back and shoot arrows, only getting into combat if any of the enemy broke through the front line) but he'd seen how much the general could do. It was terrifying.
Tommy took a deep breath reminding himself of why he was doing this.

Sam looked down at Dream, the white dreamon curled up around a baby that had fur just as white as him… except the child also had like green creeper markings splotching their fur, and a black mouth and nose that looked just like Sam's… the child looked exactly like Dream except for their mouth and eyes. Those looked like Sam's.
"Is… is that…?" Sam began to ask, trailing off as Dream looked up at him with his own green eyes, sadly nodding. The prisoner curled up even more around the newborn then, and scooted back, looking up at Sam with begging eyes… and Sam knew exactly why he was begging. "Give me the baby."

It had been almost a year now since the renowned king Eret had sent him off to find Prince George to break their curse, he'd been all over the land by now. Having climbed mountains, made deals with witches, and fought his way through a dungeon for enchanted weapons and armor. Now finally he was here, finally he had the elixir that would save the long lost prince so he could go home. All he had to do was to climb these stairs, and his quest would be over.
