“It would have been pleasant if a certain servant had stopped prattling on during the entirety of it.“ Arthur gave the black haired boy a pointed look, but the servant just shrugged and turned to Balinor.
„Don‘t mind him. He woke up at the wrong side of the bed today, which wasn‘t my fault, may I add. I‘m Merlin.“
And then he stuck out his hand, oblivious to the way Arthur‘s mouth dropped openOr, during the Great Purge, Balinor can convince Uther not to kill all dragons. Instead, Uther magically imprisons him and the remaining dragons at the Dragon's Keep. Now, almost twenty years later, prince Arthur regualary comes to check on him. Things change, when he brings a certain manservant with him.

Summary

Now, Uther couldn't be redeemed. It's as obvious as it is certain that a task like this is impossible.
But what would have to change to make him... at least acceptable?
It's easy. Give him a heart.Alternatively: My attempt at writing an Uther who is mostly the same, but he actually cares about Arthur's and Morgana's wellbeing.
