The word caught in Chuuya’s throat, time seeming to freeze. In the moment he let his guard down and raised his gaze, he had already braced himself for what was to come—to see the lively, deep eyes, glowing at him for a fleeting moment before turning into their lifeless, stone version of them.
But that didn’t happen.
With Dazai’s hand still on his chin, Chuuya saw something of incomparable beauty, something he would never be able to liken to anything else for the rest of his life. Milky-white irises, practically blending into the whites of his eyes, gazed at him softly, and the smile playing on Dazai’s lips seemed almost visible in his pale pupils.
“You—You’re blind,” Chuuya choked out. It probably wasn’t the most appropriate thing to say, but he couldn’t muster anything else. Dazai stood here before him, looking him straight in the eyes, alive. It was something Chuuya had never expected to experience again in his lifetime.

“Then tell us, Executive Nakahara Chuuya,” Ranpo said with a light voice when saying Chuuya’s title, “Who are they targeting and why?”
Chuuya didn’t open his mouth to explain, he simply continued staring through Ranpo. Dazai looked at his partner, noting the distant gaze of his eyes, all the tells in his body language that wanted to run, that wanted to fight.
“Or you could tell us why your name was all over every single document we saw, I bet we could piece it together from that.” Ranpo continued, leaning back in his chair.
“Nakahara, all intel should be shared if we have any chance of defeating our shared enemy.” Fukuzawa stated, his voice steady and remained authoritative.
“I am, they're after me."

Chuuya pulled out a phone, seemingly very old, looking unused.
“Send a message that contains…that contains ....”
His vision is getting blurry, he has to hurry.
“Send a message “Slug salt”. Do not lose the phone. You will give me after I take care of these bastards. “
Chuuya turns around and takes off his gloves, taking a deep breath. He doesn’t know who these enemies are, but he doesn’t need to. He can not be defeated here, nor will more people be tormented by these unknown freaks. His skin gains red marks, they embrace him, as a red mist surrounds him. He has unleashed Corruption without any thought.
or: New threat approaches Yokohama, as new ability users suddenly appear and look for well known Chuuya Nakahara. Dazai doesn't seem to like that fact a lot. Something strage is happening to Yokohama. For Dazai though, most imporantly, to Chuuya.

Nakahara Chuuya has had a million questions his whole life.
Why does he hear a stranger's voice when he sleeps? Why can't he remember the first seven years of his life? Why is Dazai Osamu hellbent on being the shittiest shithead to ever shit on this earth?
On his 18th birthday, however, things change.
Despite no answers, he no longer has so many questions.
Just one:
Where the fuck did these undead creatures come from?
OR: Dazai and Chuuya are high-school enemies that have to work together to make it out of a zombie outbreak in their school — insert unwavering trust, mutual pining and a shitload of angst.
