“What are you doing?” Alastor finds herself asking slowly as she sits her book down on her lap.

Alastor is, at once, the answer to Lucifer's immediate prayer, and so the price Lucifer enacts in return for the power Alastor seeks is simple: that Alastor lay with him in the way of men and wives, as many times as it takes. Nothing more, nothing less.

Summary
