“Abbot,” Adamson said and folded his hands on his desk patiently as he waited for Jack to make eye contact. Jack reluctantly dragged his gaze up to Adamon’s face. “Hey,” John said as he moved to prop his shoulder against the door frame. “The weather’s supposed to get a little dicey over the next couple of days…” John shrugged to punctuate the sentence that he hadn’t finished.
“Mm,” Andrew hummed and stood from the edge of the bed, tugging his jeans up a little so they were settled at his waist the way he liked them.
“You’ve got a coat, right?” John asked pointedly as he eyed the t-shirt on his boyfriend’s body. Andrew’s brows drew together as he looked at John implacably. An expression that John was used to and immune to the effect of. “A heavy coat,” John elaborated and when Andrew just continued to stare at him, he pressed his lips together tightly.Pope is from California and has probably never seen snow before. “Jack,” Robby mumbled against Jack’s mouth, voice almost a whine as his breathing shuddered in his chest. “We should-” The nip Jack gave to his bottom lip made Robby’s fingers flex against Jack’s shoulders like he couldn’t help it. “We should slow down.” But he’d only pulled away far enough to speak, like he couldn’t stand to actually put any distance between them, which severely undercut Robby’s words.
“No,” Jack shook his head and brought both his hands to Robby’s face to brace on either side of his jaw emphatically. “No, we really shouldn’t.” There was a pause where Robby’s eyes- deep and warm and just a little hazy- flicked between Jack’s with an uncomprehending furrow between his brows. But then it smoothed away and clarity dawned over his expression.
“Oh,” Robby breathed reverently and his thumb brushed against the nape of Jack’s neck softly.
