It's simply a story of abandoned winding paths in front of a small town's moritician, haunted by relics of their past. Your family is estranged besides your grandmother and there are ghosts at every corner, not to mention two demons and a barghest latched to you like sticky miasma.

Soleil and Atlas found college bemusing. It wasn't any better than high school. People were awful, people save for you.
When they snapped, they came up with how to fix everything. Punish the cruel and unjust, save the kind and merciful. Never hurt you. Even if you somehow got in the way, they couldn’t hurt you.
People laughed at them, so why not dress up as jesters? Clowns that would get the last laugh. Code names Sun and Moon.

“Anything you want to add, or is this okay?” I asked Sundrop.
“Hmm….OH! Let them know that I miss my little friends SO VERY VERY MUCH and want to come back to them soon. They need me!” Sundrop scooted closer to hover over my shoulder.
I thought for a moment and added this line to the end:‘PS: Sundrop tells me that he is very concerned for the welfare of the children he attends and desires to return to his duties as soon as possible.’
“MUCH better,” Sundrop nodded. He threw his arms around me and squeezed tight, “You write really really REALLY GOOD letters! They sound so sophisticated and official!”
