Summary
Galadriel needs renovations doing to the house Celeborn left her as part of the divorce settlement so she could bring up Celebrian, their daughter.
Though strong, Galadriel is five months pregnant and doesn't want to hurt her baby, so enlists the help of Halbrand, not knowing he is the Dark Lord of prophecy who she has met before and refused.
There is another problem with the house, the house is haunted and she needs his help to find out where the body is buried that must be the source of the haunting.
Life is hard for her until she gets to know Halbrand and admits she couldn't do any worse than date him.

Being the Dark Lord had taken him to places he would never speak of in mixed company. Modern day had seen him living alone on bare rations like a hermit. Then he saw a fire truck pass by, alarm blaring, he saw what they did, thinking he was made of fire, fire could not harm him. He could help and this alone could be his redemption.
