Summary
Having traveled back in time, Steve Rogers and a resurrected Natasha Romanoff return to Vormir after having stirred the Soul Stone. By this time, the early 1950s, Peggy has moved on with her life, maintaining a relationship with Agent Daniel Sousa. Steve notices this and gives Peggy his blessing, sharing a final farewell dance with her. Since neither Steve nor Natasha can return to the future, they decide to start new lives together in 1950s New York. Steve works as a painter and artist, and Natasha as a ballet teacher, with Peggy visiting them occasionally along with Daniel. Steve and Natasha begin a relationship that culminates in Natasha becoming pregnant. They have a son, whom they name James Rogers, in honor of Steve's friend Bucky Barnes. At the same time as James's birth, Peggy Carter's niece, Sharon Carter, is also born.
