Summary
He Xuan squeezes his hand, and for a little while they’re quiet. When they’ve almost reached the gates of the manor — no longer underwater the way they once were — He Xuan speaks up again.
“You know, since you came here, everything has become... lighter.”
“Lighter?”
He lifts his shoulders, looking a little sheepish. “I don’t know how to explain it. It’s like the clouds aren’t heavy like they used to be. And the forest isn’t as dark and the waves aren’t as rough. Even the cries of the seagulls seem gentler.”
Shi Qingxuan and He Xuan navigate the waters of their rebuilt relationship.

“He’s an idiot. As I suspected.”
“That sucks.” There’s no need for half-baked shock or sympathy. Kiyoomi wouldn’t appreciate it, and besides: Atsumu’s decision to keep his piss-colored hair for the past two years doesn’t really indicate stellar intelligence.
“But he’s a good kisser.”
“That’s good,” Motoya nods, and then the chip he’s munching on is slipping down the wrong pipe. “Wait, what the fuck?”
On growing up and out, through the eyes of Komori Motoya.

The mystery athlete gives Kiyoomi a once over in the mirror. “Yer pretty tall,” he observes. The twang of an accent rasps low in his throat. His brazen eyes drift to Kiyoomi’s legs, and something like exhilaration glints gold in his gaze. “Good quads, too. Ya ever played volleyball?”
Ah. So it’s volleyball.“I’m a dancer. Ballet and contemporary, mostly.”
