Summary
The heavy sedan fish-tailed wildly, completely spinning out of the driver's control as the momentum hurled it off the asphalt. The tires tore across the gravel shoulder and slammed violently into the thick earthen embankment lining the road.
The impact was catastrophic.
The front end of the car crumpled like paper, the airbags deploying with an explosive, blinding white cloud that filled the cabin. The screech of metal tearing against stone echoed deafeningly through the quiet morning air, followed by a sickening crunch as the driver's side took the brunt of the collision.

Summary
Long ago, the world bloomed with color: vibrant, radiant, alive.
Crimson skies at dawn, sapphire rivers that sang, golden fields swaying with laughter. The Gods had blessed humanity with joy, warmth, and love made visible. But men, in their hunger, turned beauty to ash. They destroyed, not for need, but for greed. The Gods watched in silence, their hearts growing heavy. They did not strip the world of its colors. Instead, they cursed humanity with blindness to it.
From that day on, humans saw only in shades of gray.
"Let them earn it back," said one God.
"And if they cannot?" asked another.
"Then we give them soulmates," one whispered. "A destined bond. Let love be their key."
"And if they ignore it? If they break it?"
"We’ll make them suffer until they understand."
“One aches, the other heals. One breaks, the other bleeds.”
“And only then,” they decreed, “will color return.”
Thus began an age of longing, where love was the only light. And every story since has been a search for that one soul who brings color back to the world.
