    Tim has the perfect plan to get Batman to hire and adopt his new, homeless best friend Jason. All Tim has to do is put himself in life threatening situations (ie: swinging from a rope over a vat of poison, or strapped to the train tracks) and then Jason will be dressed like vigilante and pretend to save poor Timmy right as Batman swoops in to save the day. Once Jason has enough saves on his resume, Batman totally has to add him to the Batfamily. Nothing at all can go wrong with that plan, right?

    aka: Tim has an unhinged master plan to get Jason to join the Batfamily early.

    Summary

    All stories are in the universe that Dick and Bruce delivered Tim as a baby. The first few chapters are chronological but some have huge time jumps in between. After that I'll jump around. For the ages, Jason is 3 years older than Tim and 5 years younger than Dick, but time jumps around so I'll make a note of their ages in the story notes section.

    Summary

    Tim is biking home from school and it's later than usual because he stayed for an afterschool program. In the darkness, he notices a pair of headlights following. When they take the same random turns that Tim adds to his trip he knows he's being followed. His house is empty so his only option is to head to Wayne Manor and hope he gets there before the car catches up. He needs a hero, but his hero isn't who he expects.

    Tim meets Alfred for the first time and gains an instant grandpa.

    It all started with the Batmobile... by

    Tim rubs his hands together, hoping that they’ll stop shaking. He looks across the street at the most beautiful car in all of creation and sighs.

     

    Is it the absolute dumbest idea to celebrate the anniversary of Jason stealing the Batmobile’s tires by trying to steal them himself? Absolutely. Is Tim going to do it anyway? Hell yeah.

     

    or: An eleven-year-old Tim is obsessed with cars, like most kids his age, so he does the logical thing and steals the Batmobile's tires (and eventually the whole car). This leads Bruce through the five stages of grief: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Adoption.

    This is my Febuwhump 2025 story. Let's go! 28 chapters of whump, hurt/comfort, fluff, a tiny bit of angst, and lots of humor. Every chapter is a different prompt. This story is heavier on the humor than the whump, but it definitely gets dark at times :)
