The World Between Worlds was burning. It wasn’t Ahsoka’s fault per se, but it probably had something to do with the fact that she was here.
Most who entered only entered once, after all. And because the Temple at Lothal was inactive, the only entrances were natural, temporary, and unstable.
Morai’s call pierced through the sound of the Paths shattering and Ahsoka’s vision locked with a predator’s focus on the gate she flew through. Thefiretheburningthecorruption reached out to her as she dove through and blacked out.
She only knew she was in the past. She only knew the Second Slaughter could not happen again.
Then she opened her eyes. She was in the temple.

Summary
When Death clutched Ahsoka's hand, the sea-salted water threatening to invade her lungs, she was provided a choice. Granted, it had been presented to her by her long dead Master, Anakin Skywalker, whilst they duelled in the World Between Worlds, but the offer remained the same:
Fight to live another day, or die.
Ahsoka Tano, previous commander of the 501st and Padawan to one of the most powerful Jedi of all time, chose to once again fight.
How could she have known a prophecy was at large. Spoken a millennia before: "He who learns to conquer death will, through his greatest student, live again."
So when her eyes snapped open to spy a very young, living and breathing, Anakin Skywalker, what else was she supposed to do but try to save them all?
