Kaveh
Professor in the KSHAHREWAR DEPARTMENT
THE AKADEMIYA
ATD 211
Rating: 2/5
Professor Kaveh is the nicest professor ever, will help you with your projects, and brings free chai during finals week, BUT he will keep you past the scheduled class time to complain about Professor Alhaitham from Haravatat.
Be sure to pay attention during those rants because he DOES include test questions about them. I failed the final because I didn’t remember the exact date Professor Alhaitham supposedly “betrayed” him by eating his last pita pocket.
Or, the students and faculty of the Akademiya try to uncover the truth behind Professor Alhaitham and Kaveh's rivalry.

Summary
Alhaitham's stressful work life takes a sudden turn when Lesser Lord Kusanali herself appears in his office at 3 a.m., with a seemingly infinite amount of questions about human families.
In the midst of an overworked, sleep-deprived haze, Alhaitham ends up impulsively inviting the apparently homeless Dendro Archon to live in his house.
Is our favorite Acting Grand Sage really cut out for parenting the immortal God of Wisdom? Maybe not, but he's certainly going to try his best!

I wrote the first chapter in one sitting after consuming way too much caffeine. This was originally a one-shot, but will now be multi-chapter. As per usual it was not beta read. Enjoy!

It is bewildering how strongly some scholars cling to the notion that appearance outweighs function in any discipline, present in architecture most of all. Structures exist to endure, not flatter the vanity of their designers.

Dear Anon Haravatat,
Structures also exist to inspire. Most will outlive their creators - and while I agree they should not be designed purely for vanity, that does not mean they must lack aesthetic.

P.S. Perhaps some faculty should refrain from commenting on matters clearly outside their area of expertise.Series

Summary
Kaveh’s face - usually bright and unfairly, distractingly pretty - was marred by a series of scribbles and crude drawings in what looked to be permanent marker.
Though he was clearly upset, Kaveh was trying valiantly to maintain a façade of composure... but Alhaitham made no such attempt. He practically shoved Kaveh onto the couch and dropped down beside him, gingerly lifting his chin to inspect the lines on his face.
A dark anger filled his chest as he examined Kaveh’s cheeks; despite his resolve to stay calm, his hand began to tremble with fury. After several long moments, he managed to speak through gritted teeth.
“Who did this?”
