Summary
Many things are different and many are the same as Harry begins his fifth year at Hogwarts.
Here, living with Dursleys that aren't just neglectful but outright abusive made Harry unable to withstand more than a few weeks of Trelawney's "predictions" back in his third year. Instead, he took Ancient Runes, and uncovered that he had a prodigious knack for runic magic, which opened the door to the darkest of rituals and the magic of mind and soul. A year later, Harry uncovered something horrible within himself - a parasite.
So, when Voldemort sends him dreams of corridors and doors, Harry sends him pieces of hell in return.

Summary
Playing with Dark Magic was like playing with fire, sooner or later a person got burned. Tom can’t help himself, he likes the way that the matches feel in his hands. He likes the way the smoke twirls upward, the heat, the intensity. It makes him feel alive, with its promise of power and ability to wipe the slate clean. Cleanse all the things that have ever wronged him, comfort him with the knowledge what he has gained will never be taken from him. Except his wonderful fire has finally scorched his hand and sent him to an unknown future, where it's in ruin, and the person that he thought would never betray him... has become nothing but a snake-faced monster.
Harry gets more than he bargained for when the Order accidentally rescues Tom Riddle on a raid. He looks just like he has stepped out of the diary and into 1998. The smug egotistical bastard... just might be the end of him….And well... Harry just might be okay with that...

Summary
Harry has never been good with words. Not like Hermione, who can write multi-page essays with barely a glance at a textbook. Even when his content is adequate, sometimes his spelling isn’t or his handwriting is a mess. Snape is the worst about it, but sometimes even McGonagall is harsh.
It stands to reason that Harry shouldn’t write in T. M. Riddle’s diary.
He does so anyway.
