"Oh... um... I came up the... the fire stairs. Yeah! The stairs! I love exercising, you know? It helps me stay in shape." She patted her stomach and laughed with a nervousness that wasn't very characteristic of her.
Lena looked the blonde up and down, feeling like she was missing something. It did nothing to calm Kara down. Then the green eyes landed on something that sent Lena's mind racing toward answers she didn't like.
"Your pants are unbuttoned, and your shirt's untucked."
Kara's eyes went wide, and she lowered her head to confirm that, indeed, her pants were unbuttoned and her shirt was a mess. She hurriedly fixed both, her cheeks burning red, then shot her girlfriend an embarrassed look.

“I’m sure.” Lena doesn’t mean to snap —it’s more of a mild annoyance if anything because if her once best friend doesn’t know that there is no way in hell she would be doing this if she didn’t want to, if she didn’t, however unwillingly, trust Kara with this, then did she ever know her at all? “As long as you’re amenable, Kara, I’m offering my complete consent. Is that okay, or would you like it in writing as well?”
For the first time, Lena’s snipe and the crystal clear memory of their last phone call just makes Kara smile. “I’m good,” she says softly.
“Good.”
“You know, a week ago, the morning after we— I’d convinced myself it was a dream. I was scared to check my call log.”
“Do you have many wet dreams about me, Kara?”
Kara laughs suddenly, though she can’t help but feel like she’s been missing out on an essential experience. “No.”
“Shame.”
“You, uh, you hung up last time,” Kara ventures hesitantly. “Before I could…”
“If you’re worried I didn’t complete the mission, I’m happy to inform you that I did.”
“No, before I could tell you that you sounded beautiful.”

Summary
Lena Luthor has returned to Metropolis and finds things just as bad as when she left three months before. Andrea is still angry about their break up and her brother -the most hated man everywhere- has his trial coming up in a few months. A trial she will have to give evidence at. Lena would like nothing more than to disappear until it’s all over. But then she accidentally gets the attention of Kara Danvers, and she decides maybe the next few months might not be so awful.
Kara is shocked when she sees the pianist in the video and even more so when she gets a reply. It’s no surprise to her when she quickly finds herself falling for more than just Lena’s musical talents. If only her friends and everyone else could see that Lena is nothing like her brother, and if only Lena could see she is more than just what her talent can offer the world.

Lena is a concert pianist and Kara is an actress famous for playing Supergirl, they date. There is much fluff.

Summary
Lena Luthor had heard rumours about the newest addition to the research and development team. Genius level intellect, youngest PhD candidate to be accepted into the Biomedical Engineering doctoral program in NCU’s history. What Lena didn’t know was that Kara Danvers was about to change her life forever. A working relationship with Kara led to a friendship which led to a romance like nothing else Lena had ever known.
