Summary
Prom is coming. It's stupid and lame, therefor Katsuki wants nothing to do with it if he can help it; problem is, it seems not everyone got the memo.
All of Shouto's attempts to ask Katsuki out failed miserably, no matter the method. There's only one last strategy left to try, and it can't get much worse than it already is, can it?
"I need your help," he confesses quietly.
"Sure thing, man! What is it?"
On the screen, Princess Kaminari bypasses Red Hat Kirishima in an ugly move that sends him flying outside the track.
"Bro, no! why'd you do that!"
"All fair in love and war," Kaminari singsongs.
"I need your help to ask Bakugou out to prom," Shouto says in the same tone he uses to talk about everything else.
Princess Kaminari flies off the track as well.
"Say WHAT now?"

Summary
Averting his gaze, Katsuki looks down at the cat-themed vase.
“I thought you might like it,” he starts behind gritted teeth, voice notably strained under the pressure of this bizarre feeling that has consumed him. “Or something.”
“Or something,” Shouto echoes softly, stroking over the head of the cat like he’s petting a real one. Like this is something he treasures and will treasure for a lifetime.
Holy shit.
Eyes crinkled in the corners, Shouto hums.
“Katsuki,” he says, voice swathed in something far too tender. He stops short at the name, almost as if savouring the shape of it. “How would you like to be a permanent fixture in my home as well?”
Mark this down as the clumsiest yet weirdly charming confession in history.

“Oi,” Bakugou hisses. “What the hell are you doing?”
The rookie blinks at the sound of a voice, as if not expecting to find another human soul in a place built to house their screams throughout the night. Stupid.
“Haunting… “ Todoroki muses in a low sombre tone, which makes no sense because this job is not paid enough to take part unwillingly. “That’s what I’m supposed to do here, isn’t it?”
“What else would you do in a haunted house?”
“I don’t know," Todoroki admits honestly. "I’ve never done this before.”
Snorting, Bakugou steps out into the corridor. The poor bastard looks so lost it almost isn’t fun to gloat anymore. Almost.
“Yeah. Figures.”
The only mystery to it all is how Bakugou lands himself in such a stupid situation and how he even endures it for so damn long.
