Summary
His life wasn't spectacular but also never boring. Ryland has his friends, not-so-functional family that he tries to get back on track with, his job and his hobbies. Maybe he was a little lonely from time to time, but it was nothing important, nothing he couldn't handle. He also had something to look up to every now and then. New pictures from this person at the photography platform Grace uses to find new material for his lessons.
All in all - not perfect, but pretty nice life in his almost-fourties. So why on earth, would he feel this need to run, like some wild animal being hunted? Well, Grace could ignore it, like anything else in his life that he wasn't able to handle. Ignore, run, hide and sometimes bite, those things always worked for him, this time would not be different
