Summary
Amongst daiyōkai royalty, it is standard practice for the clan heir to enter a betrothal once they reach 2.5 centuries of age. The heirs are bound by a blood contract that would have them married and mated once they reach full maturity on their tenth century of life. At the start of the century for the seven centuries following the initial betrothal, the promised couple meet and spend a full lunar cycle getting to know one another. As part of the contract, neither party is permitted to engage in any sort of sexual or romantic activity inside - and especially outside - of the betrothal. Violation of any terms within the contract will nullify the binding.
Heir to the Kagengetsu Clan, Sesshōmaru was betrothed to his future mate - Runa of the Hangetsu Clan - when he was just a child. He spent the entirety of their betrothal willing himself to fall deeply in love with her. So when he one day finds her in the arms of another, a mere five decades before they are set to consummate their betrothal, he is devastated.
When Kagome witnesses the betrayal, her kindness may open doors that neither the miko nor the daiyōkai had ever dared to open.

The timing of the girl's appearance coinciding with the mysterious disappearance of a hanyō that had been sealed to the Goshinboku sets the villagers on edge. When the girl awakes claiming to remember nothing, the suspicion only grows. She knows her name is Kagome, because that is what the contents of her strange yellow bag have revealed to her. When the tension mounts, Kagome flees from Edo and winds up living in a shack with a mute orphan named Rin. Together, they discover a wounded daiyōkai. Attempting to help him will set the girls on bizarre adventure across Japan.

"She finally stood up from her task and looked at the taiyokai. His face had not aged since she first met him. A blue crescent moon on his forehead, amber eyes, two maroon stripes on each of his cheeks, pointed ears and long silvery-white hair. But something was different. His already pale skin had taken on an ashen pallor. Almost imperceptibly there were the beginning of dark circles beneath his eyes showing a tiredness she had never seen in him. And strange enough, she could easily make out the breath passing through his lungs when usually she had to stare for a long time to see movement. What was going on?
"Are you okay?" She inquired, concern lacing through her voice.
"Worry not, Miko"
"I have to worry. You are going to be my brother after all.""
Or
Sesshomaru is dying. He has an idea of what his sickness is but he refuses to tell Kagome of what might be ailing him so she could cure him. Resigned to his fate he asks her to stay until he dies in the next three months. Kagome agrees to stay, so she could figure out what's wrong and cure him. And maybe get away from Inuyasha.

Summary

Summary
Angels treat omegas like dirt under their shoes. Castiel can't even sit on a train without some alpha turfing him out of his seat. Getting a job in law enforcement took years - omegas aren't supposed to be hired into an 'alpha job', and even though he's clearly the best they have, he still has to put up with his team leader marking him with his oil as though he's the alpha's property.
Castiel has a secret though. The angels are at war with demons and when his secret gets out, he has to flee his own planet and make a new life on Earth. Things go wrong. Horribly wrong.
Dean is an alpha cop. He stumbles across a young angel on duty and despite the child's apparent hatred of him, decides to adopt him - he's soft like that. Little Samandriel comes in a pair though, and his father, Castiel, is a violent and angry man with a terrible past.
He's also been mute for nearly three years.
