This was initially written and posted less than 24 hours after finishing Inscryption, but it will change, particularly in the second chapter, as I process my feelings and think of more to add.

    Kaycee wanted nothing to do with Gamefuna, honestly, she'd quit for a reason! But, the weird conversations, conspiracies, and disappearances echoed though her head. It was only natural that she ended up with Inscryption in her hands. It was only natural that she played it.

    This is functionally a Swap AU!
    Basically, characters' order of interaction in the story are swapped. Kaycee, a former Gamefuna employee, is our protag playing the game now, while Luke is a mysteriously dead benefactor who provided the clue to the game. P03 gets to be our intro area DM and well, the rest will follow! Of course, changing the order in which things are presented can change a lot, and Kaycee is wildly different than our favorite "let me play this random floppy disk I found in a forest" Luke, so the arc the story will follow will be very different.
