So yeah. Fuck you and fuck Sam, because he isn’t pouting. He’s just aware. He woke up, and there was nothing to do. When was there a moment in Dean's life where there was nothing to do? Never. There is always something. And now his mind is vacant of old anxieties, so he has to make some for himself because it feels just too damn suspicious. Being happy feels like you're being watched on days like these.
or Dean is having a bad day because retirement can be hard. Cas is there to comfort him, and maybe that makes Dean wanna choke himself out... in a good way?
I promise this is pretty cute, the angsty summary is just eye candy.
EDIT: This is new and improved because I am trying to sleep about a year later, and the awkward intro still made me cringe... so I scrapped it and got inspired by seafood. Bye bye!

Summary
As a hunter for HunterCorp, Dean is no stranger to magical auctions--places where curses, spells, and even supernatural creatures can be bought. A chance meeting and a series of questionable decisions leaves Dean the owner of Castiel--an angel deemed so dangerous that he is delivered to Dean in chains.
With no way to undo the spells binding him to Castiel, Dean resolves to make the best of the situation. As Castiel becomes first his partner and then his friend, Dean wars with his feelings towards Castiel and the knowledge that, if he ever wants to keep Castiel, he's first going to have to set him free.

Summary
Getting used to Heaven is something of a marvel. It ain't perfect, and Dean thinks he'd hate it if it was, which is probably why it isn't.

"You don't understand," Dean whispers, exhaling shakily. "I know you don't, because even I don't. The instant you were gone, I wanted you back. Cas, I wanted you back. I wanted—I wanted—"
Cas stares at him, searching his face. After a moment, his own face falls slack, eyes widening just so. "Oh," he breathes out.
Dean wants to be furious that Cas has figured it out before he has—whatever it is—but he's not even that surprised. Cas knows him too well, always has, even more than Dean knows himself. He's been kicking Dean in the goddamn teeth with how deeply he understands him, even about the things Dean doesn't, ever since they first met. You don't think you deserve to be saved, that's what Cas had said. All bundled up in impossibilities and power, this being that looked at Dean Winchester and knew every single inch of him, as if he had a right to each part.
"What?" Dean grits out.
"I love you, too."

Summary
The SPN Files are a mix of cold cases with missing persons who have disappeared under strange circumstances (jokingly called 'alien abductions' by other agents) and cases that are just plain...bizarre and dark.
Dean Winchester is the overseer of the SPN Files at the FBI. He trained as a hunter of the supernatural as he grew up after his mother was killed by a demon and his dad went on a warpath of vengeance. Now, he gets to use his special skill set and gets paid for it.
FBI psychologist Castiel Novak has been assigned Dean's new partner/observer--with the caveat that he reports back to their assistant director on Dean's unconventional methods and overall low success rate of case closures. He has to be impartial and scientific. It’s difficult to do that, however, when monsters are trying to kill you.
