    Summary

It's not often you get shot in your own apartment, play twenty questions with a mysterious glowing lady, and wake up in a fictional world, but what are you gonna do about it?

After waking up in Thedas one month before the events of the Conclave, Pellena is dealing with new body features, racism, magic (yay), and the overwhelming familiarity that she truly should not have. Armed with a backpack, what she can remember of Dragon Age lore, and the occasional helpful spirit, she is determined to save what lives she can and change the mind of a grim and fatalistic wolf. Did she mention she can see the future occasionally or that she has been getting past memories of a woman who looks suspiciously like her? No? Oh well, it'll work out.

    Summary

When Alyssa falls into Thedas, she brings more than just her modern sensibilities—she carries the weight of foreknowledge that could save or shatter this world she knows all too well. As a player of both Dragon Age: Inquisition and Veilguard, she understands the catastrophic events about to unfold. But knowing the future and changing it are two very different challenges. Alyssa must navigate the dangerous waters of fate and free will. Her position as the Inquisition's Seer brings both power and peril—especially when a certain Dread Wolf begins to suspect she knows far more than she should.

Alyssa must discover that changing history isn't just about preventing catastrophes. Sometimes it's about small moments: a barrier cast in time, a kind word spoken, a truth revealed before it's too late.

And perhaps, if she treads carefully enough, she might even save the heart of the Dread Wolf himself—assuming she can keep her own heart from becoming entangled in the process.

    Summary

Duncan was unable to find a final recruit before Ostagar. Then he finds Catherine: modern, American, already tainted, and very much not supposed to be here.
Catherine wakes up among darkspawn with no memory of how she arrived, no way home, and no way to survive except the Joining. Obviously, this is a stress dream brought on by finals.
    Except… it isn’t.
Armed with fencing lessons, genre awareness, questionable tact, and a growing suspicion that this world isn’t following the script she remembers, Catherine sets out to stop the Blight, collect companions, and keep everyone alive through the end of the game.

    Summary

That's the world. Everything you build, it tears down. Everything you've got, it takes. And it's gone forever. The only choices you get are to lie down and die or keep going. He kept going. That's as close to beating the world as anyone gets. – Varric Tethras, Dragon Age: Inquisition

I should start this by saying, I really should have known better. There’s no such thing as coincidence; it’s an illusion, a fabrication we create because we just want to move on with our lives as if nothing happened. For the longest time, I clung desperately to that illusion, to the belief that being reincarnated into a world I’d once known as a game was nothing more than a coincidence.

It sounds so foolish, now that I think about it. I was so foolish. My only defense is this: the power of denial can never be underestimated.

Yes, it’s a poor defense. Especially for me. Especially after what I’ve done.

So here it is. A compendium of my life’s memories, jumbled together in the hope that someone, anyone, finds it in themselves to understand.

    Summary

I can't explain how or why it happened. It just did.
One minute, I'm sitting in my apartment, watching some mindless thing on television. The next, I'm waking up in a snowdrift, freezing to death. Maybe I had a heart attack. Maybe this was my reality all along, and I only just became self aware.

One thing's for absolutely sure, though:

Ferelden really does smell like wet dog.

    _______

It's been three months since Ana woke up half frozen to death outside of Haven. Now safe (ish) behind the walls of Skyhold, she is faced with the impossible: try to get home on her own, tell someone and risk revealing who she is and where she's from, or blowing the cover clean off a certain elven apostate, to try to prevent the catastrophic events to come.

    _______

OR: I wrote a "Girl Falls into Thedas" story, because I have free will.
