Summary
Neil’s head rests delicately on the pillow, lips lightly parted and skin a shade paler than before, with his fringe fanned over his forehead gently just like it was all those mornings that Todd would find him passed out after a night spent rehearsing. Under it, however, bandages wrap firmly around his forehead. On the right side, just poking out from under them, he spots a patch of Neil’s hair, or rather, lack thereof. Blood soaks the surrounding bandages, a dark but present red.
“God, Neil,” Todd’s voice quakes with tears and he can barely stumble to the side of Neil’s bed before he collapses onto his knees. He can’t help the sobs that rack his body when he stares up at Neil’s face. Is this what he would look like if he were dead?
Carefully despite his shaking, Todd rests his head against Neil’s outstretched arm.

Neil missed, and now Todd has to wait for him to wake up all whilst dealing with the aftermath of his attempt and struggling to accept his own feelings. But what if Neil was never truly asleep?

“Well, I think it is romantic,” Kugisaki said, arms crossed over her chest. Yuuji couldn’t help but agree, on some level it sounded nice. Having someone whose soul fits perfectly with yours, whose very presence made you stronger. It was sort of romantic in a way.
“How?” Fushiguro asked with a bewildered expression.
“How is it not?” She asked just as bewildered. “Sharing in someone's pain and actively making each other stronger because of it. Romance is practically the expectation.”

Satoru couldn’t hear if the man walked away, the pounding of his heart in his ears too loud to hear any receding footsteps. He fought to stay conscious, some primal part of his brain screaming that if he passed out here then he’d never wake up again.

Summary
Suguru Geto never really considered leaving his dead end hometown, but now he’s here, starting some new school program, surrounded by people who see a new facade of a handsome young man instead of a monster. Then there's that Satoru guy who's just barging into his life, who grins like they’ve been friends forever, who clings to him like it's normal. He's not sure if he'll get used to it.
Satoru Gojo isn’t threatened by Suguru's weird cursed energy. He’s just… curious. It’s dark and murky but it kinda matches his sharp looks. Twelve curses is a lot for someone with no training, but it’s not like he’s on Gojo’s level or anything. Right?

‘Weird hair,’ is his first thought, eyes switching between the two people stood in front of them. ‘What do they want,’ is his second, fingers twitching at his sides as he wonders if he should try to call the demon dogs.
“Fushiguro, right?” The taller one says, hands settling on his knees as he lowers into a crouch. “Megumi and Tsumiki?” He smiles as he says their names, glossy lips as bright as his eerie blue eyes in the warmer light of the late afternoon, familiar and fond.
Almost, Megumi wonders, as if he knows them.
Or: There are consequences to time travel. In this case, they turn out to be good ones.
