Summary
They told Clint that the Black Widow was a monster, a ghost, a trained weapon designed to kill.
What they didn't tell him was that she'd open the door barefoot, bruised after a mission went south, holding a gun in one hand and a sleeping toddler in the other.
"Please," she says, voice shaking despite the way she's aiming the pistol straight at his chest. "If you are here to kill me, just do it quietly. She just fell asleep,"
Hawkeye was supposed to take the shot and go home. Instead, he finds a terrified nineteen-year-old trying to keep her daughter fed, hidden and alive while half the world hunts her down.
And yeah - the Black Widow can kill a man in under ten seconds but she's also exhausted, scared out of her mind and standing in a shitty apartment whispering Russian lullabies to a little girl who clings to her like she's the only safe thing in the world.
So, Clint makes a different call - no shot, no mission complete, just - "Pack a bag , Natalia. We gotta go, Now."Turns out saving the Black Widow is a lot harder than killing her. Especially when she doesn't trust anyone, the kid keeps stealing his arrows and SHIELD would really like to know why Clint couldn't complete the mission.

Summary
Everyone at SHIELD knows Maria Hill and Natasha Romanoff belong to each other. Everyone except Maria and Natasha.
They have never called it love. They have never needed to. It exists instead in quiet routines: a seat saved without thought, a collar straightened before a mission, coffee carried across the Triskelion without asking. Then the world ends before either of them can decide what those small things mean.
Five years later, Maria leads one of the last surviving settlements in a country overrun by the infected. Natasha is dead. Maria has learned to live with that certainty—until stories begin spreading about a red-haired woman who appears wherever the dead gather, saves strangers, and disappears before anyone can learn her name.
When the woman finally reaches Haven, she does not remember SHIELD. She does not remember herself. And she does not remember Maria. But her hands do.
Come Home to Me is a slow-burn apocalypse story about grief, survival, and two women finding their way back to each other—one instinct, one memory, and one Thursday at a time.

Summary
This is the haunting origin story of Natasha Romanoff - not the polished SHIELD agent or stoic Avenger, but the girl no one was ever supposed to know existed. Natalia Romanoff entered into the world as property. Her birth an accident, her parents discarded, her body designed to be a weapon before she ever spoke a word. In the heart of Soviet shadows, she was raised not by parents, but by handlers. Fed propaganda. Conditioned by pain. Programmed for obedience. The Red Room didn't steal her childhood - it replaced it. From her brutal beginnings as a state experiment to the moment Clint Barton couldn't take the shot, and the bloody mission in Budapest that changed everything, this is the origin the MCU could't handle.
