Everyone gets bored, and everyone likes to let off steam when they’re being plagued by meaningless guilt over supposed failures done against young deer women. Queen is no exception.
Unfortunately, Castle Town is not actually as expansive and fun as the itty-bitty prince claims it is. As it is, she only has three consistent activities —
1. Drink for hours, drink drink, drink. Drink so much battery acid. And battery wine. But mostly battery acid.
2. Bother the other people in town (gets old fast).
3. Sit upright, contemplate her faults and also everyone else’s faults but mostly hers.That is until a few days ago, when the Lighteners brought someone new in. A real tall glass of However that phrase ends.

More than once, Spamton had come close to losing his composure under the pressure of it all. But if he wanted what he was promised, he had to follow the rules. Put on a smile, obey their every command, and everything would work out just fine.
Tonight, though, before a live studio audience, things started spiraling out of control. If they were in hot water with the network on the regular, now it was boiling over, threatening to sabotage the entire studio.
The strange thing is that it wasn't even Spamton pissing off the censors this time.

Susie closed her eyes and listened to the static whining of Tenna standing beside her. She wiped another tear from her face, pretending to be rubbing her eye.
Unfortunately for her, Tenna caught her.
“Hey…” Tenna’s voice was soft, worried. “Hey, Susie… You haven’t been crying, have you?”
OR
Susie wakes up in her room in Ralsei's castle in the middle of the night after a nightmare and finds that she doesn't want to be alone, and yet doesn't want to confide in anyone.
Despite her attempts to hide, Tenna finds her wandering and upset and decides he wants to help.
