Summary
Sanji’s dressed down in just his shirtsleeves and slacks. His forearms are exposed, his collar loosened with no tie in sight, and all that pale skin glistens faintly under the amber lights. Zoro watches the flex of Sanji’s wrist each time he spins Nami out, studies the arc of his fingers when they cradle her hip or settle at the small of her back. He takes a long, slow sip of his lager when Nami rises up on her toes to whisper something in Sanji’s ear. Sanji throws back his head to laugh, clearly delighted. Zoro hears it over the din of the hall like they’re right next to each other rather than several feet apart—loud, joyous, and perfect.
(Sanji doesn’t laugh enough. The thought isn’t original or new to Zoro, but he thinks it all the same. Sanji’s laugh is a special thing that deserves to be heard all the time just like music.)
The Straw Hats spend a night in a dance hall. Zoro doesn't dance, but he doesn't mind watching Sanji do it.

“You give me a headache,” Zoro fires back quickly, even if he does not mean it.

“I’m supposed to be finding this guy, Prince Sanji of Germa,” Zoro explained, figuring he might as well be honest with the rabbit about his initial impressions of the missing royal. “Typical, right?” he grinned. “More like the Prince of Dumbass Kingdom, wandering off and getting lost. Moron’s probably so coddled he couldn’t even fight his way out from under wet bread.”
The rabbit glared up at him from behind the heavy fringe of tawny hair, its nose scrunching indignantly.
Zoro ran a finger over the handsome face depicted on the curling paper. "But something about it doesn’t seem quite right,” he admitted softly, voicing his doubts aloud for the first time. “While the honorable thing for me to do is complete the quest… I’d like to hear his reasons for leaving when I find him. Sometimes lost things should stay lost.”
