As Nacho is escaping Lalo's "Cielito Lindo" in Chihuahua, the darkness outside of the hacienda seems to show him all but freedom and second chances, anticipating a dusty and light blue-hued omen of death, making Nacho soon realize that running back to Fring meant demise for him and an unknown fate for his father.
What did running back to Lalo mean? More death? Choosing between Fring's cold machinations checkmating him or Eduardo Salamanca's warm hands choking him was easy."Would he listen to him? Would Lalo be the strong and unmovable thing that could save his dad, as batshit as it sounded?"

In a Salamanca owned Albuquerque, Nacho lives in hiding as the most wanted man by the DEA on the US side of the border, since, as promised by the fireplace three years earlier by Lalo, he's running the city's drug trade, changing safehouses frequently, and having to deal with a mysterious rat who's tipping off information to the police. As if that wasn't enough, Nacho has to battle with the gut wrenching guilt and anguish of seeing Manuel grieve his death from afar, and with Lalo being back in town to "make sure the business is running in order" once again.Bookmarked by Canidpie

A blur of movement and a rupture of light, striking and bursting wide enough to cover everything in Nanami’s vision, his arm raising defensively in front of his face as he fell back a step. It was barely a moment or two before the vicious wind died as quickly as it had begun.
He opened his eyes and lowered his arm.
Gojo wasn't standing in front of him anymore. He looked around, expecting the other man to have already moved towards the source of the attack, then – when he found the parking lot as empty as before – looked down.
There on the ground just ahead of him, his head covered in blood, was the strongest sorcerer in the world.

“You know that’s something I like about you, Nanami-kun,” Gojo hums. His long fingers dance along the rim of his mocktail.
Whiskey curls and curves over Nanami’s lips as he takes in a passive sip. He has spent the entire mission – no, the entire day – caving to Gojo’s whims and wants. However, Nanami could summon no strength to regret the shared sweet potato or ice cream, and certainly not the time. Admitting to himself the ways he has enjoyed giving into Gojo only makes him more inclined to resist obeying the social convention of saying ‘What do you like about me?’
If they so brazenly begin to admit to things they genuinely enjoy about one another, there will be no end to Nanami’s list, and there will undoubtedly, painfully, be an end to Gojo’s list.
Alternative Summary: Nanami and Gojo agree to spend a little more time talking about the circumstances that brought Yuuji into their custody after the events of The Ressurection Puppet mission in Hokkaido. Things go further than Nanami even thought possible and for once that may be exactly what he wanted all along.
