Summary
This is another one-shot in my Season 11ish Verse but it can be read as a stand-alone.
Mandy visits for the Fourth of July holiday and she and Mickey have a meaningful conversation. Mickey enjoys having Mandy around but he's missing his special alone time with his husband. It makes Mickey a little emotional and he starts ruminating on some of the shitty ways he treated Ian in the past.

The pills made everything brown. It was the product of mixing every color together and expecting to get something beautiful, but instead getting something ugly and bland and shitty that was exactly how Ian felt: Like shit. (Takes place during 5x10)
