"'Bout time we got another reptile in here," Gaz says brightly. "Maybe now Cap'll finally invest in some proper heaters."
Soap chuckles, smoke leaking from his nostrils when he grins. "Ah'm plenty warm," he teases, drawing Gaz under his wing, the snake wriggling happily, his round pupils shining as his cheeks flush pink. He rests his chin on Soap's shoulder with a tiny hiss, content to curl around him and soak up the heat of Soap's fire.
"Ghost is out on a mission," Price tells him. "You'll only get to meet him when it's basically wheels-up, unfortunately. He's, ah, a bit of a prickly sort, but impress him and you won't have any problems."

Summary
After their hospital merges with another, junior doctors John MacTavish and Kyle Garrick find themselves continuing their medical training at Manchester General hospital. Specializing in Accident & Emergency early in his career, John finds himself working under Dr. John Price and closely with fellow A&E junior Dr. Simon Riley, who everyone calls Ghost.
The hospital throws the staff challenge after challenge, trauma after trauma, all the while driving them closer together--sometimes closer than they expected.

Summary
Simon Riley, captain of the Manchester Soldiers, is one of the best goal scorers in the entire premier league. For some reason, however, he cannot score a goal against John MacTavish to save his life. It's driving him a little mad at this point.
When John gets booted from his team for a "breach of contract" Simon does his best to be professional, to welcome his new goalie. That's what good captains do. It's just a shame MacTavish is such an arrogant prick.
