Summary
The almost reveal that never really happens.
If anyone’s going to put the pieces together and confront anybody, let’s be honest, it was always going to be Annabeth. She’s too clever and perceptive for her own good. Certainly for Jason and Percy’s.
Jason has rejoined society and is keeping a cool distance from Percy and practically ignoring his existence, but aside from that he’s perfectly civil, carefully so. Nobody would know a thing. Or so he thought anyway.
Percy is not doing much better and spends his time beating himself up over what happened because Jason is ignoring him and Annabeth is in the dark and doesn’t know to do it for him.

It should be easy.
After all, demigods are predictable. They are reckless, emotional, and far too trusting. Camp Half-Blood is full of children who have no idea that the boy they welcomed into their midst is waiting for the perfect moment to betray them.
The problem is that Perseus has never been particularly good at doing what he is told. And somewhere between Long Island and Hades, he finds that his loyalties might not lie with the right people at all.
