After practice, in the locker room, JJ had checked his phone with a strange look on his face. He stared at it so intensely, like he was trying to look at something very small. And then his eyes widened, and he shouted what the fuck so loud that everybody turned to look.
“Dude, what the fuck yourself,” Hayden laughed, and swiped JJ’s phone off the floor before anyone else could get it first. And he saw—well. At first, he wasn’t sure what he was looking at. And then he saw Ilya fucking Rozanov pissing all over his best friend’s chest, and, well. What the fuck was he supposed to do with that?

Summary
There was a twitter post. A video. The caption said #pissgate. The video started playing automatically, and Ilya saw the nondescript white tile of the Metros locker room, and then the camera peered around a corner, and there he was. There Shane was. It played just long enough for Ilya to hear himself—say it—and Shane—piss on me. please—before his phone fell from his nerveless fingers and shattered on the concrete.

Summary
Dr. Rozanov rolls forward on his stool, leans in, and hooks a finger under the seam of Shane's binder so it snaps back against his skin. "This will have to come off too."
"Um," Shane says, eyes darting between his chest and Dr. Rozanov’s hand.
He never had to take it off with his old doctor. In fact, he’s pretty sure he's never taken his binder off in front of anyone since he started wearing them. But Dr. Rozanov’s practice does specialize in trans healthcare, so probably this is standard practice when a doctor actually knows their stuff.
Shane's new doctor takes some ethical liberties.

Summary
Ilya has a sudden visceral urge to stamp his fingerprints all over Shane's body. An unmistakable warning to ward off all other predators. A claim so deep, that Shane could feel it in his bones. So Shane could walk, and anyone who catches a glance would see the Ilya shaped print on him. Would know that there's a missing piece that will attach itself back to Shane at any moment. A natural instinct to self-persevere; a mechanism designed purely for continued safety.
Shane's eyes snap open at the sudden loss of air, and his hands come up to grab at Ilya's wrists, scratching little whites onto Ilya's hands — his nails surprisingly kept at a longer length — attempting to fruitlessly wrench Ilya's hands away.
"My poor zaychik, it hurts?" Ilya says softly, lifting his index finger to pet at Shane's chin. He realizes that he's probably going too far for a first meeting beyond eye-contact, choking him for longer than he'd thought.
