Summary
Bored of running one of the most successful tour guiding and travel publishing companies in the world, Ed decides to go check out a rival company's tour as he considers his own future. He doesn't realize that the company's owner, the charming Gentleman Tour Guide himself, will be running this tour of Portugal personally.
Ed is immediately taken with Stede, but lying doesn't make for a good start to a relationship. Besides, Ed has long since stopped trying to find a soulmate.

Summary
Ed and Stede were childhood best friends, then childhood sweethearts, then teenage lovers—and then, quite suddenly, they were nothing.
Stede's fault, he knows. He has never forgiven himself. He expects Ed hasn't forgiven him, either.
What he doesn't expect is for Ed—now a famous musician, living a life far bigger than Stede or their tiny little hometown—to show up here, today, twenty-five years later. To Stede's father's funeral, of all things.
In the pool house. Of all places.

Stede is being brave and going on a date with a man. Surely it can’t go too badly, right?

Stede Bonnet’s computer is doing something weird and his usual IT guy is out of the office. Hopefully the rumbly-voiced stranger who answers his call can help!
