Summary
A high-stakes, slow-burn wartime romance where the future collides with a fragile present.
When a dark uprising led by a rogue Death Eater threatens the downfall of muggle-borns and half-bloods, two-year-old girl Lyra is thrust backward through time for her own safety. Dropped directly into the lap of a bewildered, Draco Malfoy by his future self, Draco is left with a daughter he has never met - and absolutely no idea who her mother is.
The mystery unravels when little Lyra locks eyes with Hermione Granger and joyfully cries out "Mamma!"
Forced into an impossible partnership, the former enemies must navigate sudden parenthood, protect their future half-blood daughter, and dismantle the deadly coup before it spreads. Together, they must face the ultimate battle to defeat the dark resistance and secure the beautiful future their family was promised.

Summary
Here we are at Book Two.
This story follows the events of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, primarily from Draco Malfoy’s point of view, with occasional chapters from Hermione Granger’s perspective. While many familiar events remain, this is an alternate retelling, so expect plenty of canon divergence along the way.
I hope you enjoy.

Summary
His shoulders lift just slightly in a shrug. He uncrosses his legs and all at once looks very much like a little boy, feet dangling. I knew a little boy with the same face when I was a child. Blonde hair, blue eyes, strong but soft. I see a flash of him in the open spaces of my mind; 16 like me with blood splattered across his shocked face.
“None of it means anything,” Peeta says, “like you said, they lied. I’m not getting better.”
“They’re going to pass you and they’re going to send you to the front,” I say and am surprised at how desperate my voice sounds, “do you understand that?”
OR back in 13 Haymitch, struggling in sobriety, learns that Peeta is going to be deployed into the war.
Follows book and movie cannon but mostly book.
