“You didn’t need to come.”
“You can’t drive back by yourself.”
“That’s what I have drivers for.”
“Will you even be able to make it outside by yourself?”
“God, Nagi,” Reo mutters. “It’s just pulling out a few teeth. I’d be fine.”
Nagi stays silent. Much of this car ride has been multiple iterations of the same conversation, and Nagi gets the sense it isn’t exactly going anywhere. He doesn’t know why Reo’s so adamant against Nagi driving him to the dentist, but nowadays, there’s a lot of things Nagi doesn’t know about Reo. Nagi would ask Reo about it if he didn’t suspect it would go largely the same way this conversation’s going.
“Really,” Reo says quietly, turned away to face the door. Still, Nagi can make out his faint reflection from the window. His brows are furrowed. “You don’t have to stay. I can call someone else to pick me up.”
“I don’t mind.”

Jiang Cheng is willing to roll with it - although it is strange that Lan Wangji seems so very determined not to be ignored...

Wei Wuxian chuckles and starts pushing Lan Wangji's outer robes off his shoulders. "Poor Lan Zhan, subject to such earthly miseries. You must be exhausted, come to bed, come to bed."
"Mm," Lan Wangji says. He raises his arms so that Wei Wuxian can keep undressing him. His clothes will end up on the floor, but no matter. Wei Wuxian's deft hands at his belts are worth wrinkled robes.
"... Goodness, Hanguang-Jun, you wear too many damned layers," Wei Wuxian tells him after a while. "Would it kill you to stop after a reasonable five?"
