Hunter had left Crosshair to the mercy of the Empire and the Kaminoans that day they fled the army. He didn’t deserve to be forgiven for that, maybe that was why he didn’t push him to change his mind. He hadn’t missed the look in his eye as they stood on that landing pad, the flicker of hurt and the mistrust that hung in the gap between where they stood. The soft grey light of dawn filtering through the storm clouds, casting similar sparkles on the ocean as the ones which currently glimmered out on the seas of Pabu.

Summary
On a mission between Anaxes and Kaller, Tech and Echo make the only choice they can: stay behind enemy lines so that their brother can complete the mission. Echo had never had any particular talents. He'd never sought to be special, never tried to break the mould. Funny old galaxy, really.
