The world didn't end when the pandemic spread, leaving infected in its wake. “Seems I’ve touched a nerve,” Astarion crosses his arms, shifting his weight to the side and smirking- not quite the reaction you had expected. The sight of him standing there, almost taunting you with that deadly crooked smile sends a sudden thrill through you. Hate and longing rolled into one confusing, tangled-up mess.
You snap, face tight, “No. You have not.”
Liar.
His head tilts forward just a bit, the orange glow of the fireplace highlighting his cheekbones and illuminating his eyes, “Hm. Maybe I should try harder. I’m bound to touch the right one eventually.”
Astarion rubs you the wrong way, in every sense of the phrase. So why can't you stay away?
