Summary
Sakusa opens the door. He always does.
They’re teammates first, barely even friends. But they hook up on the regular and it works. It’s simple, easy. But then a fan gets too close, Sakusa reacts, and Atsumu is swept up in how quickly things can get complicated.__
As Atsumu palms himself over his briefs, still feeling off, he realizes it’s because he still wants it. Him. Sakusa. Even after already having him earlier.
He should probably feel self-conscious, mildly ashamed even, that he’s panting ‘Omi Omi’ into the dark beneath the steady thrum of the AC unit when Sakusa’s right down the hall, probably good for it if Atsumu ended up back at his door. Instead, he lays there, writhing and sweaty, alone in his hotel room bed thinking about Sakusa and touching himself.
Afterward, as cum begins to cool on his chest, Atsumu really can’t help but face the fact that things may be getting complicated.

Summary
Soulmates are chosen by the spirits and can hear each other’s thoughts. Sokka thinks it’s cheesy and dumb. Zuko thinks it’s poetic justice that he doesn’t have one because he doesn’t deserve it. Cruel irony is finding out that the prince of the Fire Nation (and the person currently hunting you) is your soulmate.
(Set during and after the events of ATLA, and during some of the events of the comics that follow. This was an excuse to write a slow-burn where Sokka and Zuko are soulmates)

Forgot to bookmark this but ooo it was good! Wasn’t E but I still liked the tension build up and the time skip wasn’t bad. Soul mate trope doesn’t always do it for me but this was good!

Kiyoomi doesn’t see him at first. He’s so busy trying not to glare down Miya-san that he doesn’t notice the way every head in the room suddenly turns toward the open door.
“My great nephew,” Miya-san says.
Kiyoomi’s eyes only flicker up then.
And when it does—when he finally sees who’s standing there, leaning casually against the doorframe, his fake blond hair brushed to the side and that infuriating, crooked smile on his face—it hits him like a punch to the fucking gut.

LORDDDD this was really good but like really long and unfortunately i have a terrible attention span so i didnt finish the last chapel and skimmed the second to last one. But it was super well written and the yerning was 10/10. I j wish it kept that same tension throughout. It resolved nice regardless tho.

Summary
Book one ends with two major diffrences: 1. Sokka went on the mission with Hahn (it did not go well) 2. Zhao survives the North Pole and that proves unfortunate for everybody (except Zhao, obviously)
Imprisoned on Zhao’s war ship, Sokka and Zuko have to work together to survive. They are not very enthusiastic about this prospect.
And they argue.
